At the stand
Sixty years of SIAL, five days of ours.
SIAL began in Paris in 1964 and runs every second October, so the 2024 show was its sixtieth edition. Comexposium counted 7,500 exhibitors and around 285,000 visitors from 200 countries, three-quarters of them from outside France.
We took a stand of our own and showed the export range on it, with the vineyard and sorting-line footage running behind the counter. Europe is where the specification questions get hardest, and five days of them in one hall is worth a year of correspondence.

Our team spent the week with importers, distributors and buyers working through caliber, moisture, certification and packing formats — the four things a European buyer settles before anything else is discussed.
SIAL only comes round every other year, which makes the decision to return an easy one to test: you either got enough out of the week to book the next stand, or you did not. We booked. Hall 2, Booth B032, this October.
