Sun-dried Uzbek raisins from the Samarkand region, cleaned and sorted in four stages on our own line before anything leaves the site.
We farm 120 hectares in the Samarkand region. Everything after the field is in house: the drying yards, the four-stage sorting line, the laboratory checks, the packing and the loading.
NNP Raisins is part of Navobod Naslli Parranda, one of the largest agricultural holdings in Uzbekistan, and has been working in the same region for thirty years.
From vine to vessel
The cycle follows the season rather than a production schedule, which is the reason the fruit arrives the way it does.
Weak and withered shoots come off in spring so the vine puts its energy into fruit.
Excess leaves are stripped in June to get sun directly onto the clusters.
August trimming pushes growth out of the shoots and into the berries.
Picking starts only once the Sultana reaches minimum glucose. Every bunch by hand.
Five to seven days on trays raised 35 to 40 cm off the ground. No drying chambers.
De-stemming, vacuum separation, washing, then laser-optical and X-ray sorting.
Raw material analysed in European laboratories, then every finished batch retested.
Lined boxes at 10 or 12.5 kg, loaded to sea or road container.
Independently audited
Every one of these was issued by a third party, carries a reference number, and can be verified with the issuing body directly.

Everything below is standard. If your buyer specification needs something different, the export desk will tell you straight away whether we can do it.
Shelf life from the date of production, in the packaging described here and stored correctly.
Natural sun-drying on raised trays at 35 to 40 cm. On our own vineyards we use organic fertilisers only and biological pest management, with no mineral fertiliser applied in the field.
