Crafted by Nature. Perfected by Us.

We farm 120 hectares in the Samarkand region. Everything after the field is in house: the drying yards, the four-stage sorting line, the laboratory checks, the packing and the loading.

NNP Raisins is part of Navobod Naslli Parranda, one of the largest agricultural holdings in Uzbekistan, and has been working in the same region for thirty years.

From vine to vessel

Eight stages, and we do all of them.

The cycle follows the season rather than a production schedule, which is the reason the fruit arrives the way it does.

01

Dry pruning

Weak and withered shoots come off in spring so the vine puts its energy into fruit.

02

Leaf removal

Excess leaves are stripped in June to get sun directly onto the clusters.

03

Tip trimming

August trimming pushes growth out of the shoots and into the berries.

04

Hand harvesting

Picking starts only once the Sultana reaches minimum glucose. Every bunch by hand.

05

Open-air drying

Five to seven days on trays raised 35 to 40 cm off the ground. No drying chambers.

06

Four-stage sorting

De-stemming, vacuum separation, washing, then laser-optical and X-ray sorting.

07

Laboratory testing

Raw material analysed in European laboratories, then every finished batch retested.

08

Packing and loading

Lined boxes at 10 or 12.5 kg, loaded to sea or road container.

Sultana raisins spread across the perforated steel belt of the sorting line.
